Anti-Narcotic Seminar
The Anti-Narcotic Cell of MSM College, Kayamkulam, organized an Anti-Narcotic Seminar in association with the Vimukthi Mission of the Department of Excise on 13 January 2026, as part of the National Youth Day celebrations. The programme was held at the Physics Seminar Hall from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The seminar was inaugurated by Principal Dr. A. Muhammed Thaha. The sessions were led by Mr. Antony K. I., Excise Inspector; Mr. Praveen P., Excise Preventive Officer; and Mr. Shabik Ali, Master Trainer, who highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse, legal implications, and the importance of youth participation in building a drug-free society.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jyothi G., Convener of the Anti-Narcotic Cell, with the support of Mr. Suresh R., Excise Official. College Union Chairman Abhijith S. Babu offered felicitation. The seminar was organized on the initiative of the SRADHA and Nerkkoottam Committees of the Anti-Narcotic Cell, in collaboration with the NCC Unit.
The programme created strong awareness among students and reinforced the commitment of the institution towards promoting a healthy, drug-free campus.
